I a New Zealander, but came to North America in 1970 as a newly wed, and have lived here ever since. I now have citizenship in N.Z.,Canada and the U.S.as my mother was an American. I've been in Alaska since 2003, when I took my current position as a medical librarian at the Consortium Library at UAA in Anchorage. I work with health care providers under Alaska Medical Library's fee-based service, but also help faculty and students in the allied health programs. In my opinion it is the best job ever, in the best state!
